Neue Perspektiven für Statistiken zu Einkommen und Lebensbedingungen

In Österreich werden auf Ebene der Personen-Einkommen Register- und Verwaltungsdaten bereits in hohem Ausmaß verwendet, während die Daten auf Haushaltsebene noch nahezu vollständig auf Befragungsdaten beruhen. Zukünftig sollen auch in der HaushaltserhebungEU-SILC Verwaltungs- und Registerdaten verwendet werden, eine entsprechende Verordnung des Sozialministers ist in Vorbereitung. Darüber hinaus zeichnen sich im Zusammenhang mit der aktuellen Novelle zum Bundesstatistikgesetz verbesserte Möglichkeiten für eine umfassendere Verwendung von Verwaltungs- und Registerdaten im Bereich der Statistiken zu Einkommen und Lebensbedingungen ab.
